I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere thanks for your time and thoughtful discussions during our recent conferences. The conversations we’ve had about your child’s goals, progress, and our continued partnership are so important to their success, and I truly appreciate your involvement and support.

If you feel you need additional time to discuss anything further, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Jess or me—we are always here to support you.

As we look ahead, I also wanted to send along the 2025-2026 school calendar as a helpful reference. Please remember that re-enrollment is due by March 3rd.

Have your student bring their favorite stuffed animal or wear an animal shirt. No live animals, please!

3.3 | RE-ENROLLMENT AGREEMENTS FOR 2025 - 2026 ARE DUE

Reminder: the enrollment fee increases to $3,000 after the March 3rd deadline.

3.6 | TEACHER APPRECIATION DAY

Our HEART parent group knows that May tends to be a crazy time for everyone, so this year, they’ve planned two teacher appreciation days—one in each semester—instead of just one at the end of the year. Show your gratitude with a handmade card from your student or a coffee to start a teacher’s day!

3.7 | SCIENCE FAIR

8:00–8:30 AM
Students should bring their projects in the morning and drop them off in the dining room on the ground floor.

3:00–4:00 PM
Families are welcome to visit the dining room to view all the projects. All projects must be taken home by 4:00 PM.

AWARDS
Judging feedback will be provided in sealed envelopes after the event. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in both lower and upper school, along with an overall Science Fair Champion.

NEW TENANT AT HAVERN FOR
2025 - 2026 SCHOOL YEAR

We’re excited to announce that Vertical Skills Academy (VSA) will be joining us as a new tenant in our building next year! VSA is an independent school specializing in dyslexia and individualized instruction. Their mission closely aligns with ours, and we’re happy to be able to offer them space to grow. This will be a completely separate program from ours, much like how RealLife currently operates in our space, so our therapies, classes, and programming will not overlap.

Additionally, we’d like to inform our families that VSA hosts a well-known summer program called Every Child Reading, which will be held on the Havern campus starting this summer. You can find more information about their camp below.

JOIN US FOR TWO SPECIAL DYAO CONCERTS MARCH 2 & 12TH

The Denver Young Artist Orchestra (DYAO), who host our amazing violin club, have graciously invited Havern & HAP families to two upcoming concerts! 🎻✨

On March 2, the DYAO Spectacular will feature all four DYAO orchestras at Boettcher Concert Hall at 2:30 PM. Tickets are free for teachers and Havern/HAP students. Parents that want to join, just let DYAO know by emailing kelly.waltrip@dyao.org so they can reserve your tickets for you at will call by February 27th.

Then, on March 12, the Side-by-Side concert will showcase DYAO students performing alongside Colorado Symphony players in a FREE community performance featuring The Planets.
